The Porsche 917k was indelibly linked to Le Mans due to the Steve McQueen movie “Le Mans”. It won the 24hr event in 1970, and in 1971 they did it with a Martini Racing backed car. Here we the car driven by Helmet Marko (now with Red Bull) and Gijs van Lennep at the 1000km’s in Spa earlier in 1971.
This NSR Porsche 917K is a professional slot racing model in 1/32 scale with high tech race components. Competitive straight out the box while still respecting the aesthetics of the real car.
