The Shelby GT350 was produced from 1965-1970, with the GT500 model added in 1967 after Ford enlarged the Mustang enough to hold a big-block V-8. The Shelby GT500, powered by a 428 cubic inch engine, was built from 1967-1970.
Car enthusiasts will already be aware of an important milestone – the 1966 introduction of the special-edition Shelby Mustang GT350-H. As soon as it was launched, car fans were immediately infatuated with its remarkable design and high-class performance. The “H” stands for Hertz – the only company that offered this model for rent.
The Thunderslot GT350H features a plastic chassis design which replicates the style seen on metal-type chassis that are popular with serious slot racers. Powered by a 21.5k rpm motor in a sidewinder configuration and fitted with the high-end components that we have come to expect from the Italian brand.
Compatible on 1/32 analog slot track systems (Scalextric, Policar, Carrera, Ninco etc).
