NOTE: When replacing spur or crown gears it is best to replace the pinion so that both parts are from the same manufacturer resulting in a very smooth mesh and higher performance (if you already have installed a NSR pinion there is no need to replace it with a new one when changing NSR spur gears). The recommended pinion gears to use with the 6000 series of NSR spur gears (17.5mm) are the 691x series for sidewinder and 711x series for anglewinders. NSR uses a .050 set screw to tighten their wheel and spur gears.
