32ALLPRO-Blue OS3 32 All Pro Controller with Brake Sensitivity and Choke Control (Blue)
The Pro Series of OS3 controllers are linear electronic controllers capable of running all 1/32 and some 1/24 cars depending on the style selected. It is housed in the new design handle. 41" of super flexible 14ga wire outside the handle are terminated with color coded insulators over solid copper clips. Each controller features a smooth trigger action covering a 40-Band wiping area. Fuses are set in the wires for easy diagnosis and replacement. We find these controllers to be far superior to the standard controllers supplied with sets. There is 3 adjustable knobs on the controller for sensitivity fine adjustment, choke, and brake. Since these are commercial grade controllers, they will stand a lot more abuse than the standard controllers that come with 22 gauge wire and have a tendency to break down.
- Positive wired track where the white is positive and the passenger side rail is ground.
- Operate on 2 wire and 3 wire systems including home sets where only two wire connections are available.These controllers have brakes built in as long as your track is wired to use brakes.
- It can run on any voltage from 6V to 24V but runs best between 10-14V for 1/32 and 12-20V for HO.
All Pro Series controllers feature the following:
- OS3 Handle New Handle designed by OS3 to match the grip and feel of a Parma handle while allowing more internal room and a better mounting system. The two sides grip together with a positive positioning system that makes assembly a snap. No requirement to align the sides before tightening the screws or worrying about the sharp edges from a worn mold. Available in 6 colors, Red, Blue, Yellow, Clear, Black and Purple. Great for matching the standard lane colors of a 4 lane track.
- OS3 Trigger Super strong rounded edge Nylon trigger. Similar in shape to the Parma trigger but a lot more comfortable on your finger.
- Super Flexible Wire Highly flexible silicon coated wires are used on all controller. 14ga for ALL Pros and Pro Lites and 16ga for Lites. They are available in many color options.
- Compact Design Transistor-in-the-Handle design allows the controller to be light and compact while also reducing the sharp edges and cumbersome weight associated with Transistor-on-the-Wires designs.
- Plastic/Fiberglass Base (Pro) Provides Easy-to-Read Labeling and ample spacing. Curved for easy holding.
- Pivot Rivet Redesigned rivet removes the slop in the bushing and eliminates the need for bearings. It also locks into the frame to prevent the trigger from drifting in position.
- Protected Circuitry The main transistor is internally protected from short circuits (not available on the Lite controllers). An external Mini Automotive fuse is included to protect track wiring and Power Supplies but is not necessary to protect the controller. The fuse is conveniently tucked into the top of the controller where it can be easily checked, quickly replaced and not accidentally dislodged. The electronic circuit board is twice as thick as others on the market and extremely robust. This prevents a drop from cracking the circuit board and damaging the controller. The All Pro switches are also positioned so that they can't be inadvertently switched when laying the controller down. The controller can be laid down anywhere without risk of having the circuitry contact the track and cause damage to the controller.
- Nickel-Plated Board (Wiper Board versions only) 40 Bands for fine control. Resists wear while providing good electrical contact.
- Flexible Wiper Arm (Wiper Board versions only) Prevents the need for complicated and expensive hinges or bearings while performing the same function of maintaining positive contact with minimal pressure to the wiping surface.
- Aluminum Frame Redesigned frame serves as a heatsink and houses all components reducing overall weight.
The 32 ALL Pro is an 32nd Scale electronic controller featuring all the basics of the Pro Series controllers. It is intended for use with All 1/32 cars. It features:
- 3 Range Adjustable Sensitivity. A 3 position switch offers three different ranges to maximize the Sensitivity adjustment. The Middle switch position is intended for most 1/32 cars. It provides a wide range that is set to run all but the most sensitive cars at 12V. The Low (s) setting provides a slightly slower range to handle the most sensitive cars while reducing some of the top end range. When running on 10V the most sensitive cars will run fine on the Middle switch setting. Cars running at 10V require more current to run the same as on 12V. To provide this extra power there is the High (S) setting. . For most 12V racing this setting will be too much.
- 3 Range Adjustable Brakes. A 3 position switch offers three different ranges of Brake 0-5 ohms (B), 5-10 ohms (Middle switch position) and 10-15 ohms (b). This allows the user to have fine control over a smaller range. When requiring a lot of Brakes the switch can be moved to the far right position (B) for the 0-5 range. . Keep the switch in the middle position for 10-15 ohm Brakes. Move the switch to the left position (b) for the 10-15 range.
- Adjustable Choke. Choke will flatten out the response of the controller. This allows the entire range of the trigger to be used in controlling the car vice just a small portion. The Choke is fully bypassed at the full trigger pull. Choke increases the jump between the last band and the full power band to achieve the flatter response. . This feature can be useful when wanting to take the power just below full power for a slower and repeatable speed trigger position, "blipping the controller." The RED Brake wire does not have to be connected for Choke to function.
32 ALL Pro Controls
- Sensitivity Knob - Fully CCW is the lowest sensitivity for the slowest starting speed within the selected Sensitivity Range. Fully CW is the highest sensitivity for the highest starting speed within the selected Sensitivity Range.
- Brake Knob - Fully CCW provides the lowest ohm brakes (most brakes) within the selected Brake Range. Fully CW provide the highest ohm brakes within the selected Brake Range (less brakes).
- Choke Knob - Fully CCW provides the most choke, the flattest response. Fully CW provides the lowest choke or normal linear response.
- Sensitivity Selector Switch - With the switch in the (s) position the Sensitivity knobs adjusts the lowest Sensitivity Range. With the switch in the (S) position the highest Sensitivity Range is selected. With the switch in the middle the middle and most useful range is selected.
- Brake Selector Switch - With the b/-/B switch in the small b position (left side), the brake range is 0 (CCW)- 5 ohm (CW). With the switch in the middle position, the brake range is 5 (CCW) - 10 ohms (CW). With the switch in the big (B) position (right), the brake range is 10 (CCW) - 15 ohms (CW). To completely remove all braking the RED Brake wire needs to be unplugged.
