Kyle Larson drives the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series season and won the 2021 championship with a victory at Phoenix Raceway in the title race. Larson, who began his Cup career in 2014 at Chip Ganassi Racing, is a 29-time Cup race winner and qualified for the NASCAR Playoffs in 2016-19 and 2021-24. His first win for Hendrick Motorsports came in March 2021 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He won the 2019, 2021 and 2023 NASCAR All-Star Races. Larson also owns crown-jewel wins in the 2021 Coca-Cola 600, 2023 Southern 500 and 2024 Brickyard 400. Larson also earned Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in 2014 after winning the same award in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2013. Larson has 15 career Xfinity wins and three career victories in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
