30749 Carrera Digital 132 Porsche 917K Daytona 24h 1970 J.W. Automotive Engineering, #1 1:32 Slot Car

1970s racing legend
In 1970, there were three Porsche 917s in action at the famous 24-hour race in Florida. The sportscar was unveiled in Geneva in 1969, fired by a 12-litre mid-engine for a power output of 520 hp, and was one of the most successful racing cars of the 70s. The Swiss driver Jo Siffert and Brit Brian Redman of the J.W. Engineering team drove the no.1 car to second place in Florida, beaten only by their team rivals - who also drove a Porsche 917.

Top speed around Carrera racetracks
The Porsche 917 KH 'J.W. Automotive Engineering, No.1' Daytona 24h 1970 completes a trio of famous Gulf Porsche 917s in the Carrera stable. The thrilling 1:32-scale slot car has realistic front lights. This cult 1970s racer is digitally controllable and is just as much fun to race today. The car can be individually coded to suit each driver's skills.
