This Porsche 917 debuted at Le Mans in Longtail form in 1969. Car number 14 was driven by the German pairing of Rolf Stommelen and Kurt Ahrens who started on Pole. While neither it or its team car 12 finished, the fast pace of the 5 litre cars showed of promise to come. This is a limited edition resin model featuring a new ABS chassis design and must be considered as being highly desirable to collectors of slot cars that raced at Le Mans.
