0566SW NSR Lola T290 Ford Targa Florio 1973, #16 Shark 21.5K 1:32 Slot Car
Relive the excitement of the 1973 Targa Florio with the Lola T290 Ford #16, driven by “Pooky” and Enrico Pasolini for Scuderia Brescia Corse.
This edition marked one of the final appearances of the historic Sicilian race in the World Sports Car Championship.
The car, which had already made history in 1972 by winning the Sport 2.0 class, returned in 1973 sporting number 16.
Unfortunately, during the grueling 792 km race, the Lola T290 #16 was forced to retire due to a technical issue.
This 1:32 scale NSR model faithfully recreates every detail, from the iconic livery to the advanced mechanics.
Equipped with the SW Shark 21.5K EVO motor, it delivers outstanding performance and thrilling handling — the perfect choice for both collectors and historic racing enthusiasts.

Lola T280-T290 History
The Lola T280-T290 series is a series of competition cars built by Lola Racing Cars in the 1970s, fielded in prototype sports car championships starting in 1972 in the three-liter and two-liter classes, respectively.
The version dedicated to Group 6 competitions, namely the Lola T280, boasted a 3,000-cfm engine capable of producing 450 horsepower in a car weighing only 600 kg, equipped with an aluminum monocoque chassis and fiberglass body.
Victory at the 4 Hours of Le Mans in March 1972 showed the T280's potential ahead of the more prestigious 24 Hours to be held in June, where Jo Bonnier himself was involved in a fatal accident in the morning during a lapping phase while in third position.

Slot car designed to dominate the classic category
The 1/32 scale replica from NSR, was made with the aim of positioning itself at the top of the "Classic" category.
The various innovative and technological solutions employed in the 1/32 scale replica from NSR, allow the Lola T280/290 to position itself at the top of the Classic category, achieving a perfect combination of performance and history.
The Lola T280/290 is in Sidewinder configuration and equipped with the standard components of the classic range.
-----
Redesigned chassis with flexibility
The Lola's chassis has been completely redesigned. The structure has modified ribs, which allow for better chassis flexing and a 20 percent weight savings, providing better performance.
The bellies and front end have been emptied while retaining cross bars, to facilitate the possible placement of additional ballasts.
The rear frame structure has been resized and strengthened, ensuring better cornering behavior.
The frame has been completely redesigned in the area of contact with the motor mount, reducing transverse movement and increasing the smoothness of the frame.
-----
Perfect weight distribution for maximum smoothness
For the first time on a classic model, all the weight of the body is discharged evenly around the perimeter of the chassis.
Both the nose and the bellies are in fact constantly in contact with the chassis.
This solution also allows for the widest chassis in the classic range (62mm width of the Lola bellies versus 58mm for the Porsche 908).
-----
Lightweight and low center of gravity
The flexibility of the body has increased exponentially, thanks to the strategic attachment system of components and the meticulous design of the body itself.
The weight of the complete and painted Lola body is only 13 grams in race-ready configuration and in "short tail" version.
Shapes, dimensions, and Lola's center of gravity ensure flawless performance.
The Lola T280/290 is significantly lower than its direct competitor and the already very fast Porsche 908 NSR.
