In the 2015 season, the Austrian racing driver Lucas Auer changed from Formula 1 into the DTM. Auer sits behind the wheel of the Mercedes-AMG C 63, also known as the "Pink Panther", with start number 22. Since joining the DTM, the Austrian and his "Pink Panther" have been competing together. In the 2017 season, Auer drove 136th on the sixth place.
