A victory in Daytona!
The Lola T70 MKIIIb "No.6", 24h Daytona 1969 is a true-to-original model in the new Carrera fleet for the Carreraristi. The Lola T70 was produced by the British manufacturer Lola Cars from 1965. A total of only 88 vehicles were produced, which makes the racing car a real collector's item. The Lola T70 celebrated its greatest success with victory in the Daytona 24-hour race, also known as the 8th Annual World's Championship 24 Hours of Daytona International Road Race.
The Lola T70 was developed in 1965 by the British racing car manufacturer Lola as a two-seater racing sports car for the unlimited Group 7 sports car racing series in England and the USA. The coupé version built from 1967 onwards also enabled use in the brand world championship. The Lola T70 is considered England's most successful two-seater racing car.
Sometimes these vehicles show up at auctions. If a Ferrari is too boring for you, a Porsche too profane, you can give it a try - it is said that getting started is quite difficult. It is questionable whether the Lola would get a street license today, which it once had in Switzerland.

A rarity on your Carrera track
The first variant was the Lola T70 Spyder. In 1966 the Lola T70 Mk II Spyder appeared, which was replaced by the Lola Mk III Spyder in 1967. John Surtees became world champion in the CanAm series on Lola in 1966, but only one race could be won against the McLaren M6A-Chevrolet in the following year. The first closed variant was the Lola Mk III Coupé, which appeared in 1967; replaced by the type Mk IIIB Coupé which appeared in 1969 and was built until 1970. Now the racing car is also available for your racetrack: The slot car is equipped with front, rear and brake lights. The car can be controlled digitally and can also be individually coded.
